Rustic Whimsy
"Rustic Whimsy" is the very first fashion editorial from Haus of Razzo. The shoot features a custom upcycled patch work dress made of button down shirts.
This editorial is the story of taking subdued, everyday garments and turning them into something fun and magical. The color brown isn't the most exciting. However, by adding the elements of mixed patterns and a dreamy silhouette, we were able to create the true vision of Rustic Whimsy.
Ah'Myrah Amone (she/her/hers)
I've known Ah'Myrah for pretty much all of my life, but this shoot allowed us to reconnect again. We attended the same high school back in Louisiana, and now we're both in Atlanta pursuing our dreams.
Ah'Myrah is an amazing dancer with beautiful, graceful movement, so I knew she would be perfect to model this fun, whimsical dress. All tea, she really brought our vision to life.
One of my favorite things about art and the creative process is the liberation, and this shoot was actually quite therapeutic for both us. Her love for art prevails over any adversities, and her story is so inspiring and empowering.
